La Peña was founded by me and Miguel Ayala. It was the first House and Techno Label that i launched in 2008.

Info:

La Peña records was founded in 2008 by Arno Völker and Miguel Ayala aka Einzelkind. Initially they just needed a label for Canto Divino. The first record on La Peña records. The label was born out of a DIY ethos.
After the success of the first release they decided to have other artists as well as their own music on the label. The concept was to have no information about the music available on the record to have people mainly focus on what they hear rather focusing on certain names. The label was home to Artists like: Reboot, Sascha Dive, Vera, Gari Romalis & Lello Di Franco, Butch, Dorian Paic. Arno, taking care of signing the music was always keen on pushing new unknown talent next to established Producers. So people like Markus Sommer or Martynè had their first outings on La Peña records.
